Website Statistics

Website statistics are log files of a websites performance, usually put together in a understandable form by a website statistics program.

Some statistics programs will only analyse the minimum performance of the website such as total hits / visits. While other programs will completely analyse all aspects of your websites performance.

These more in-depth programs will offer search engine referral data, keyword / key phrase referral data, user geographic information and visitor click paths through your website including time spent on each page by a user.

Website statistics program are an invaluable marketing tool for a website.
