Search Engine Listing

Search engine listing is usually a term generally used for a website placement on search engine result pages; the search engine lists the website.

The search engine will apply its own algorithm to determine the relevance of the website and its placement for specific keywords / key phrases.

Getting listed on search engines can be done through the process of search engine submission. Website listing is not guaranteed by any search engines unless there is a charge being made.

Some search engines allow you to `Express Submit` your website to their indexes guaranteeing your website listing within a short time period, usually 48 hours.
