Search Engine Submission

Search engine submission is the process of listing a website with the search engines and directories.

There are various ways to submit websites to the search engines and directories such as manually or using submission software.

There are arguments that that in today’s modern age of search engines a website owner no longer has to submit his/her website, that search engines will find websites if there are incoming links to them.

However this argument does not consider the vast resource of directories that do require manual submission and can be an invaluable resource website traffic.
